What Is Chakra Quest?
Chakra Quest is an immersive walking meditation experience created by Kim Queen and woven with deep intention into the living landscape surrounding the temple. Spanning two acres of forested sanctuary, it is not a classroom, not a lecture, not a checklist. It is a path you walk with your whole self — body, breath, awareness and wonder.
Rather than simply learning about the chakras, visitors are invited into a living journey of reflection, presence, discovery and inner listening. The trees hold space. The stones mark thresholds. The trail asks nothing of you except that you arrive — and then keep walking, one step, one breath, one gateway at a time.
Each bend in the path offers something to notice. Something to feel. Something quietly asking you to remember what you already know.

Root
Foundation & Belonging
The earth beneath your feet has always known you. Here, you are invited to feel the ground — to remember that you belong, fully and without condition, to this living world.
Sacral
Creativity & Feeling
Water moves without forcing. At this gateway, creativity stirs — emotion is honored, sensation is welcomed, and the full spectrum of feeling is allowed to flow freely.
Solar Plexus
Power & Choice
The fire within you is not aggression — it is clarity. This gateway asks: What do you choose? What lights you from the inside? What are you willing to stand for?
Heart
Love & Connection
The heart gateway opens gently, like a clearing in the woods. Love — for another, for self, for the mystery of being alive — is not earned here. It simply is.
Throat
Voice & Expression
Your voice is sacred. Your truth is a gift. This gateway creates space for the words you have been holding — and for the quiet that speaks even louder than sound.
Third Eye
Vision & Inner Knowing
Not all seeing happens with the eyes. At this threshold, intuition speaks — softly, clearly, in the language beneath language. You have always known more than you realize.
Crown
Unity & Spirit
The final gateway opens upward — and inward — to the vast belonging that has no name. Here, the self and the sacred meet in stillness, and you remember you were never separate.
How It Unfolds
The Journey Flow
You do not need to prepare. You only need to show up. The path does the rest.
Arrive
Leave the world at the threshold. Step into the trees. Let the land receive you as you are.
Pause
Before moving, simply stop. Breathe. Feel the weight of your body on the earth beneath you.
Walk
Follow the trail at your own pace. There is no rush here. The gateways are patient and kind.
Pause
Each chakra invites a moment of inner turning. A question held lightly. A memory honored.
Listen
To the wind. To birdsong. To the oracle cards, crystals and animals. To the voice underneath your thoughts that always knows the way home.
Remember
Something essential stirs. Not learned — remembered. As if it has been waiting all along, just off the path.

Chakra Quest did not arrive all at once. It grew from Kim's heart — the way forests grow — slowly, intentionally, rooted in something far deeper than design.
Kim created Chakra Quest not as a concept, but as an act of devotion. Each gateway was chosen with care. Each marker placed with awareness. The two-acre landscape was listened to as much as it was shaped — and the path that emerged reflects both the wisdom of the land and the love of the woman who dared to ask: What if the forest itself could be a teacher?
Woven into the greater sanctuary of the Portal of Grace, Chakra Quest carries the quiet conviction that healing does not always come through words or instruction — but through beauty, stillness, and the sacred act of walking with open attention through a living world.
This path was made for you — for the seeker, the wanderer, the one who has felt the call of something just beyond the ordinary and followed it into the trees.

I feel so deeply grateful that the Chakra Quest exists here in Central Oregon.
The experience is unlike any other and was masterfully created by the hands/vision of a truly gifted and intuitive artist. Every detail in each chakra is intentional and serves a divine purpose that correlates with that specific chakra.
I’ve now done the Chakra Quest three times over the course of three weeks and each time has been incredibly magical and transformative, yet each experience vastly different. When you’re on the land, you forget about the outside world and time and space are non existent. Each quest has helped facilitate a layer of healing, while bringing so much insight, clarity and truth to my consciousness.
Be prepared to get to know yourself on a deeper more intimate level, while also releasing blocks that have been holding you back.

Thank you all for such a wonderful day yesterday. A container like that to do medicine work — traveling through the chakras — with tools, symbols, earth creatures, sacred sites, and divine beings at each “nest,” was/is so sacred and so healing. Your intention, meticulous care, and huge hearts were evident each step of the way.

Each chakra portal was so deeply personal in the messages I received. Using the oracle decks, essential oils, journal and visual representation, created such a sense of deep and abiding love and understanding.
